In-Office, Mobile, and Remote Options

Choose the appointment type that fits your situation: in-office notarization, mobile notary service for qualifying appointments, or remote online notarization for eligible electronic documents. Remote online notarization allows documents to be signed and notarized through approved audio-video technology without requiring an in-person meeting.

Out-of-State Service

Out-of-state clients can use remote online notarization for eligible documents, making it easier to complete paperwork when you are not physically located in South Dakota. For certain document types, additional platform, identity verification, or recording requirements may apply under South Dakota remote notarization rules.

What to Bring

Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and your complete unsigned documents for in-person appointments. For remote online notarization, be prepared to complete identity verification and attend the live online session with the required technology and document access.
